Biomechanical unloading & compartmental correction

The Vivolux OA orthopedic knee brace is a precision orthopedic orthosis designed to reduce load specifically in cases of unicompartmental gonarthrosis. Thanks to the 3-point unloading principle, the knee brace shifts the load axis away from the affected compartment (medial or lateral), thus minimizing cartilage wear in cases of bone-on-bone arthritis. This stabilizes the joint and supports post-operative rehabilitation and conservative therapy in cases of meniscus injuries.

Technical features & orthopedic specifications

• Varus/Valgus correction system: Thanks to the integrated joint module, the orientation can be individually adjusted medially or laterally. The vertical stabilizing rods prevent lateral instability and axial deformities.
• ROM (Range of Motion) control: The orthosis is equipped with adjustable stops for flexion and extension. This allows controlled limitation of the range of motion to avoid hypertonia or hyperextension during the healing phase.
• Material composition: The supporting frame is made of an ultralight polypropylene polymer construction with lightweight metal stabilizers and stainless steel rivets. The padding is made of medical foam to prevent pressure points. The entire product is 100% latex-free.
• Ergonomics & Adhesion: The low-profile design allows it to be worn under clothing. Integrated non-slip elements inside ensure the stability of the 14.5-inch high orthosis during physical activity.

Fasten the straps in the numbered order (1-4). The orthosis is hand washable (remove the padding first). The hinge joints must be maintained with a dry lubricant after contact with water. Note: Please select the correct side (left or right) when ordering.
