    Natural rods, layered into sculpture.

The Swinton Chandelier suspends dozens of natural wooden rods from smooth, curved iron arms, creating a layered canopy of organic material that balances rustic warmth with clean, modern geometry. Because each rod is cut from real wood, every chandelier carries its own grain, tone, and texture — no two are alike.

Swinton Chandelier — layered wooden rods on curved iron arms

    Natural Wooden Rods

Each rod is cut from real wood — grain, color, and shape vary naturally. Every chandelier is unique.

    Layered Architecture

Two to five concentric layers of wooden rods create depth and a shifting silhouette from every angle.

    White or Black Structure

Curved iron arms and canopy in your choice of painted white or matte black finish.

Wood information — natural variation in every piece

Each wooden rod is cut from natural wood. Grain pattern, color tone, and slight dimensional variation between rods are inherent characteristics of the material — not defects. They are what make every Swinton Chandelier truly unique. Please also note that colors may appear warmer in photos taken with the fixture illuminated than in photos viewed with it off — this is normal for warm-light photography.

18-light configurations weigh 25–35 kg — confirm your ceiling load capacity

For 18-light sizes (25 kg to 35 kg / 55–77 lbs), we strongly recommend confirming that your ceiling junction box and structural support can bear the fixture's weight before installation. All sizes must be wired to a properly rated ceiling mount by a licensed electrician.

    White
Painted iron — airy, light-enhancing contrast with the wood

    Black
Matte black iron — dramatic contrast with the natural wood tone

E14 base — max 15W per light — bulb not included

Compatible with LED and Edison filament bulbs. We recommend a warm white LED bulb (2700–3000 K) — it enhances the warmth of the natural wood and creates the most inviting ambient light. A clear Edison filament bulb adds a decorative light source visible among the wooden rods.

Why do the wooden rods vary in color and texture?

Each rod is cut from natural wood, so differences in grain, color, and shape are inherent — not defects. No two Swinton Chandeliers are identical. Colors may also appear warmer in photos taken with the fixture switched on than in photos with it off — this is normal for warm-light photography.

Which bulb does the Swinton Chandelier use?

E14-base bulbs, with a maximum wattage of 15W per light. Compatible with LED and Edison filament bulbs. Bulbs are not included. We recommend a warm white LED bulb (2700–3000 K) for the best result with natural wood.

Can the chain length be adjusted?

Yes. The standard adjustable chain is 11.8″ (30 cm). Extensions are available on request — contact our support team before placing your order.

18-light sizes weigh 25–35 kg. Do I need a structural inspection?

Yes, it is strongly recommended. For 18-light configurations (25–35 kg / 55–77 lbs), confirm that your ceiling junction box and structural support can bear the fixture's weight before installation. A licensed electrician should handle all wiring and mounting.

Can I order a custom size?

Yes. Email info@vakkerlight.com to discuss custom dimensions. We reply within 24 hours.

Is it certified for North America and Europe?

Yes. The Swinton Chandelier is certified compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.

    Sizes & questions

Each piece is made to order in our atelier — here are the questions most customers ask before choosing theirs.

Which Swinton size is best for a dining room?+

The 12-light models suit most dining spaces: ∅ 31.5″ × H 39.4″ or ∅ 35.4″ × H 35.4″. For larger rooms, the 18-light variants offer a dramatic presence. Contact us at info@vakkerlight.com for custom dimensions — we reply within 24 hours.

How many lights does each size have?+

5 lights (48 rods), 6 lights (60 rods), 12 lights (93 rods), and 18 lights (93–132 rods depending on the variant). Uses E14-base bulbs, max 15W per light. Warm white LED (2700–3000 K) is recommended.

    Which finish should I choose—white or black?+

White painted iron brightens the natural wood tones and is ideal for airy interiors. Matte black creates dramatic contrast and suits modern spaces. Both feature curved iron arms with natural wooden rods in a layered design.

How much ceiling clearance do I need?+

The adjustable 11.8″ chain suits most ceilings. Larger 18-light models weigh 25–35 kg (55–77 lbs) — confirm that your ceiling junction box and structural support can bear the fixture before wiring installation.

    Is every chandelier unique?+

Yes. Each wooden rod is cut from natural wood, so grain pattern, color tone, and texture naturally vary from piece to piece. No two Swinton Chandeliers are identical — this uniqueness is inherent to the handcrafted design.
