Spanish alabaster globes, hand-carved from solid blocks of translucent stone and suspended from a slender single cord beneath a small turned brass cap. When illuminated from within, the light reveals each globe’s natural veining and subtle mineral coloration— a quality for which Aragón quarries have been valued since the 16th century.
Available in three sizes of individual pendant lights for bedside installations or as an accent, plus a 3-light cluster on a shared canopy for use above a table or kitchen island.

Each piece is unique. Since every globe is hand-carved from natural Spanish alabaster, the veining pattern, color intensity, and grain direction vary between pendants—even within the same size. That singularity is the point of this material, not a defect.

Where does the alabaster come from? +
All Radilum alabaster comes from Spain — specifically from the Aragón region, which has supplied the world's finest translucent alabaster since the 16th century. Spanish alabaster is prized for its fine, even grain and superior light-transmitting properties. Each sphere is hand-carved from a solid block.
Which configuration suits my space? +
The Small (∅ 10 cm) suits bedside walls and narrow hallways. The Medium (∅ 12 cm) is the most versatile — dining tables, kitchen counters, the sides of a bathroom vanity. The Large (∅ 15 cm) will anchor larger dining rooms as a single pendant. The 3-Light Cluster shares a canopy and a 150 cm drop, sized for installations above islands or long dining tables.
Will my piece look exactly like the photo? +
No — each sphere is hand-carved from natural stone, so the veining, color intensity, and grain direction vary from piece to piece. Yours will share the same overall character in the photographs, but the specific markings will be unique.
Which bulb does it use? +
One G9 LED bulb per sphere (not included). G9 is a small, common bi-pin base used in decorative fixtures and is widely available. We recommend a dimmable G9 LED bulb up to 5W in warm white (3000K) for the best illumination through the alabaster — higher wattages may over-illuminate and flatten the veining.
Can the cable length be adjusted? +
Each cable is 59" (150 cm) long and can be shortened during installation. For longer drops — vaulted ceilings, double-height foyers, staircases — please contact us before ordering a custom length.
Can I install it in a bathroom? +
Yes — suitable for bathroom ceilings, particularly above a vanity. Since Alabaster is naturally porous; install it away from direct shower spray or concentrated steam. Standard ventilation and normal bathroom humidity are not a problem.
