    Spanish Alabaster · Solid Brass · Hand-Carved

A vertical alabaster chandelier in the language of quiet contemporary lighting — a cylindrical shade in hand-carved Spanish alabaster, cut from a single block, fitted with a solid brass collar and suspended from a braided fabric cable. The form is reductive: a single arched stone form, a brass semicircle, a vertical line of cord. Nothing else.

Quarried in Aragón, Spain, alabaster diffuses a warm glow through its translucent grain — each shade features unique, cloud-like veining that no other piece shares. Available as a single pendant or a multi-light cluster with up to twenty-one heads, the Figure adapts to kitchen islands, dining tables, staircases, and double-height entrances where a single sculptural drop or a vertical cascade is desired.

    Spanish Alabaster

Hand-carved from a single block of Aragón alabaster — unique veining in every shade.

    Solid Brass Collar

Cast brass collar with a satin finish that anchors the shade and braided cable.

    Up to 21 Heads

Configure it as a single pendant or a vertical cluster for staircases and grand foyers.

    Single · 1 Head

One pendant, 59″ cable. For work areas, bedside drops, or individual accents above a console.

    Cluster · 2–9 Heads

Multiple pendants on a shared canopy. Ideal for kitchen islands, dining tables, and corner windows.

    Cascade · 12–21 Heads

Multi-level vertical cascade. Designed for staircases, double-height entrances, and atriums with a canopy spread of up to 8 feet.

Hand-carved Spanish alabaster. Each shade is cut and polished from a single block of Aragón alabaster — natural cloud-like veining, color depth, and translucency vary from piece to piece. This is part of the material’s character, not a defect. Production time is approximately 25 days from order confirmation.

How many heads should I order for a kitchen island? +

For an island under 6 feet, 2–3 pendants in a row work well. For 6–8-foot islands, use 3–5 heads. Hang the lowest point 30–36″ above the countertop, and let the cable lengths overlap if you prefer a more sculptural cluster.

Why does each shade look slightly different? +

Alabaster is quarried in Aragón, Spain, and hand-carved from a single block. The cloud-like veining, color depth, and translucency are properties of natural stone—no two shades are identical. This is the material’s character and the reason alabaster pendants have been valued for centuries.

Is the Figure pendant dimmable? +

Yes, with the right bulb. The fixture uses E26 (US) or E27 (EU) screw-in bulbs. Install dimmable LED bulbs on a TRIAC dimmer, and the alabaster lighting dims smoothly. We recommend warm white 2700K–3000K LEDs to enhance the stone’s natural tone.

Why is the lead time 25 days? +

Each alabaster shade is hand-carved to order from a fresh block of stone from Aragón, then paired with its solid brass collar and tested. The 25-day production period covers carving, polishing, brass casting, assembly, and quality control before shipping.

Can I use it in a bathroom? +

The Figure is suitable for general bathroom installations away from direct shower spray—for example, above a sink or in a guest bathroom. Avoid placing it directly above a shower or bathtub where steam and water spray come into prolonged contact, as moisture may affect the natural stone’s surface over time.
