Handmade washi paper pendant light in three sizes

A pendant light handmade from translucent mulberry paper glued onto a metal frame. Available in three diameters—17.7", 25.6" or 34.6"—each emits a warm, diffuse glow in all directions. Hang it above a dining table, desk or entryway, or group multiple lights for layered ambient lighting.

Three individual sizes

26A: ∅17.7" × H9.8". 21A: ∅25.6" × H11.0". 15A: ∅34.6" × H13.8". Each weighs approximately 4.4 lbs.

Hand-wired E26 socket

Uses a standard E26 base. An Edison-style filament bulb (2200–2700K) is recommended; LED bulbs also work. Bulb not included.

Questions

What is this pendant light made of?

Each shade is handmade from translucent washi paper—made from the inner bark of the mulberry tree—hand-glued onto a metal frame. Minor traces of glue along the edges are a natural result of this hand-gluing process and are not a defect.

Can I dim this fixture?

The fixture is compatible with dimmer switches. Dimmers must be rated for the type of bulb you choose. Ask us about triac dimming as a made-to-order option.

Can I adjust the drop length or cord length?

Yes. The standard cord is 197" (500 cm) long and adjustable. Longer drops can be built for higher ceilings. Contact support@vakkerlight.com with your ceiling height and desired drop length.

Do you offer a custom canopy for sloped or vaulted ceilings?

Yes. Sloped and vaulted canopies are available. Contact support@vakkerlight.com with your ceiling angle or photos, and we will build a custom canopy.

Is this pendant light approved for US homes? Are US orders shipped free?

Yes. This fixture is certified for North America and works with standard US residential power (110–240V AC). All orders to the 50 US states ship free.
