The Ketan Retro Pendant Lamp does not borrow from the Art Nouveau aesthetic — it commits to it. Yellow, pink, and aquamarine-blue stained-glass panels are set in brass filigree with the care needed to make the lamp worth viewing from every angle, lit or unlit. When the bulb comes on, the stained glass casts its hues onto the surrounding surfaces — the table below, the nearby wall — and the room takes on the warm, saturated quality of light filtering through a church window on a quiet afternoon.

The Art Nouveau Reference — and Why It Works Now Art Nouveau at the beginning of the 20th century was a reaction against industrial uniformity — the movement favored organic forms, botanical motifs, and materials that showed their making process. What Makes Ketan
