Natural Alabaster Shade · Brass and Black Body
A small wall sconce with a subtle glow. Santorini's slim metal body supports a hand-cut alabaster shade: when lit, the natural stone glows from within, revealing its unique veining. At 34 cm tall, it works as a single accent or a matching pair along a hallway, beside a bed, or on either side of a mirror.
Every piece is unique. Each alabaster shade is cut from natural stone, so veining patterns, color tone, and grain direction will differ from the photographs shown: that individuality is part of working with natural stone, not a defect.

Brass
Warm antique brass: hand-finished with a pre-aged tone that naturally complements creamy alabaster and warms cooler walls.

The alabaster shade is consistent. Both finishes ship with the same hand-cut white alabaster shade; only the metal body color changes between variants.

Bulb not included. The Santorini uses an E12 or E14 candelabra-base bulb. We recommend a warm white LED bulb (2700K), 4–6W: the warm light enhances the honey tones in the alabaster veining. Avoid cool white or daylight bulbs, which can look harsh through the natural stone.

FAQ
Does alabaster veining vary between units? +
Yes — each shade is hand-cut from natural alabaster, so the veining patterns, color depth, and grain direction vary from piece to piece and from the product photographs. This is the signature of working with natural stone, not a defect. If you’re ordering a pair (e.g., on either side of a bed or mirror), order them at the same time so both shades are cut from the same batch for the best match.
How do I clean alabaster? +
Turn off the power to the wall and let the bulb cool. Clean the alabaster shade with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, glass cleaners, and any chemical solution: alabaster is porous and can absorb moisture, leaving permanent stains. Also clean the brass body with a soft, dry cloth.
Which bulb do you recommend? +
A warm-white E12 or E14 LED bulb (2700K), 4–6W. Warm light enhances the honey tones in the alabaster’s veining and creates the soft, romantic glow the Santorini is designed for. Avoid cool-white or daylight bulbs: they look harsh through natural stone and flatten the veining.
Is the lamp dimmable? +
Yes—paired with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible TRIAC wall dimmer (e.g., Lutron Skylark, Leviton Decora), the Santorini will dim smoothly. Note: not all LED candelabra bulbs are dimmable—check the bulb specifications before purchasing.
Will the brass body develop a patina? +
The Antique Brass finish is hand-finished with a pre-aged surface and remains stable under normal indoor conditions: it will not develop a patina or oxidize dramatically over time. Slight tonal variation in the brass is part of the hand-finishing process. The matte black finish is a sealed powder coating and remains uniform.
How large is this lamp, and where does it work best? +
The Santorini is compact: just ∅ 13 cm × H 34 cm (∅ 5.1" × H 13.4"). It fits on walls beside the bed, in narrow hallways, powder rooms, entryways, and on either side of a mirror. For wider walls or as the sole light source above a bed, consider pairing two side by side.
What is the difference between Brass and Black? +
Same body, same alabaster shade—the only difference is the metal color. Brass brings warm amber tones that pair well with cream walls, natural wood, and traditional palettes. Black is matte and architectural, providing strong contrast against light walls and working well with modern, industrial, or high-contrast interiors.
