Installation
- Plug-in installation—no electrician, no wiring, and no ceiling box required.
- Secure the bracket to the wall using the included hardware, hang the fixture, then plug it in.
- Position the lamp so the outlet is within 90 cm of the desired switch height—this places the switch in an easily reachable line.
- For a cleaner look, the cord can be routed through a paintable cord cover (sold separately) to conceal the path from the lamp to the outlet.

Do I really need an electrician? +
Correct — the Nova Glass is plug-in only. Mount the bracket to the wall (regular anchors / drywall screws included), hook on the lamp, and plug the cord into a standard wall outlet. No wiring, no ceiling junction box, and no electrician required. Both renters and homeowners who value design flexibility benefit.
How does the on/off switch work? +
An inline switch is located on the cord, 90 cm (35.4″) from the plug. Turn the lamp on and off using this switch — no wall switch is involved. Plan the outlet location so the switch is reachable when the lamp is hung.
Can I combine any body and glass color? +
Yes. The body finish (Copper or Chrome) and glass color (Beige or White) are independent options at checkout. Choose any of the four combinations: Copper × Beige, Copper × White, Chrome × Beige, or Chrome × White.
Which combination should I choose? +
It depends on the room: Copper × Beige feels warm and Mediterranean — it pairs well with terracotta, wood, and warm neutrals. Chrome × White feels crisp and Scandinavian — best with cool whites, grays, and minimalist interiors. Copper × White and Chrome × Beige fall somewhere in between, making them useful for mixing warm and cool palettes.
Which bulb do you recommend? +
A warm white LED bulb (2700K) with an E26 or E27 base, rated 4–6W. Since the glass is smooth and clear, we strongly recommend an opal or globe bulb — clear bulbs with visible filaments will be visible and could cause glare directly at eye level.
Is the lamp dimmable? +
The fixture itself only has an on/off switch on the cord, so it is not dimmable as configured. There is no compatible dimmer for a plug-in fixture without rewiring.
How do I clean the glass diffuser? +
Unplug the lamp and let the bulb cool. Clean the smooth glass with a soft cloth dampened with a mild glass cleaner for a clearer finish. Dust the metal body with a soft, dry cloth; for Copper, a dry microfiber cloth better preserves its warm tone.
