Can I adjust the direction of each arm?
Yes — each arm is mounted on a brass ball joint, allowing you to angle each reflector independently. This makes the Spider ideal for large rooms where you need to direct light toward specific areas, such as reading corners, dining areas, or artwork.
Which size should I choose — 3 heads or 6 heads?
The 3-head version (L59″) works beautifully in dining rooms, seating areas in bedrooms, and medium- to large-sized living rooms. The 6-head version (L86.6″) is designed for very large open-plan spaces, lofts, restaurants, or commercial environments where broad, even illumination is needed across a wide area.
What bulbs do I need?
Each socket uses an E26 or E27 base bulb (standard US socket). For an authentic mid-century look and warm illumination, we recommend warm-white LED bulbs. The number of bulbs corresponds to the number of heads — 3 or 6. Bulbs are not included.
Does it require professional installation?
Yes — this lamp is fixed and requires an electrical connection to the ceiling. Given the lamp’s span (up to 86.6″ wide), installation requires care to ensure that the canopy is properly anchored. We recommend a licensed electrician. See the Installation Guide in the Downloads section.
