⚠ Heavy fixture — professional installation required for the 5- and 6-tier versions. The 5-tier version (53 kg / 117 lb) and 6-tier version (88 kg / 194 lb) far exceed the standard capacity of residential junction boxes (typically rated for 50 lb). These sizes require a licensed electrician to install a structurally reinforced ceiling support — typically a fan-rated bracket or a junction box mounted to a beam. The 3-tier version (37.5 lb) and 4-tier version (62 lb) require a fan-rated box for the 4-tier version or a verified standard box for the 3-tier version. How do I order a specific glass color? +
Twelve glass colors are available — White Cloud, Brown + Light, Brown Cloud, Dark Brown, Yellow Cloud, Green, Blue, Pink Cloud, Light Red, Red Cloud, Red, plus a Nickel hardware option. Place your order with your preferred size, then contact our support team with your color selection (or any mixed-color combination you would like). We will confirm and proceed with production.
Which size fits my space? +
The 3-tier (50 cm) suits standard dining rooms with 9-foot ceilings. The 4-tier (65 cm) is for formal dining rooms or larger living rooms with 9–10-foot ceilings. The 5-tier (78 cm) and 6-tier (90 cm) are statement pieces sized for grand foyers, hotel lobbies, double-height staircases, or large rooms with vaulted ceilings — they require more than 12 feet of ceiling height to be properly proportioned and require professional structural installation due to their weight.
What about the weight and ceiling structure? +
This is a heavy fixture in every size — confirm before ordering: 3-tier (37.5 lb), 4-tier (62 lb), 5-tier (117 lb), 6-tier (194 lb). Standard residential junction boxes typically support up to 50 lb. The 4-tier and larger versions require a fan-rated or beam-mounted junction box installed by a licensed electrician. The 5-tier and 6-tier versions require professional structural support — typically a beam or certified support bracket. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure about your ceiling structure.
What type of bulb does it require? +
Each fixture requires an E12 candelabra-base bulb (North America) or an E14 bulb (EU/UK/AU), up to 25W. Number of bulbs: 3-tier requires 7 bulbs, 4-tier 10, 5-tier 19, 6-tier 22. We recommend warm white (3000K) LED candelabra bulbs — the warm light enhances the glass color and best brings out the layered refraction effect. Bulbs are not included.
Is the glass truly hand-blown? +
Yes — each petal is individually hand-blown using traditional Italian-style glassblowing methods. Because each piece is formed by hand, there is natural variation in petal thickness, curvature, and color saturation from piece to piece. This is part of the material’s artisanal character, not a defect.
Can the chain be extended for a stairwell? +
The standard suspension chain is 150 cm (59"). For stairwell or double-height installations requiring a longer drop, contact us before ordering — we can provide custom chain lengths to suit your ceiling height and desired visual proportion.
Is it dimmable? +
The fixture itself is not dimmable, but it becomes fully dimmable when paired with dimmable LED candelabra bulbs and a standard TRIAC wall dimmer (both sold separately). Dimming this fixture creates an especially atmospheric effect — the layered glass petals produce a softer, more ambient cascade of refracted light at 30–50% brightness.
