Made for High Ceilings
4 heights from 5-foot to 10-foot drops — for two-story foyers, stairwells, and atriums.
Ships disassembled — flat-packed for safe transport
To protect the delicate ceramic ginkgo leaves and brass branches during shipping, the ginkgo chandelier arrives disassembled. Follow the included guide to shape the branches and attach each porcelain leaf. Both assembly videos are linked above.
Sizing Guide — open the branches for a full silhouette
The listed dimensions refer to the overall span with the branches opened and all porcelain leaves installed. The brass branches are flexible — gently open the outermost branches by hand to achieve the full vortex shape shown in the photos.
Glue marks on porcelain leaves are normal
A small amount of glue is applied at the metal-to-leaf interface during production to secure the brass fitting to each leaf during shipping and long-term use. A slight residue on some leaves is a normal part of production — it does not affect the appearance or functionality of the ginkgo vortex chandelier.
Measure ceiling height + stairwell width before ordering
The ginkgo vortex chandelier drops 5 to 10 feet from the ceiling. Maintain at least 7 feet of clearance above the bottom of the chandelier and the lowest step or floor. The diameter should not be wider than half the opening of the stairwell or foyer.

Which Gingko Vortex Chandelier size suits my stairwell or two-story foyer?
Match the vortex drop to the ceiling height while maintaining at least 7 feet of clearance above the lowest leaf. For a 10- to 12-foot ceiling foyer, choose Size S (H59", 220 leaves). For a standard two-story foyer (14-16 feet), choose Size M (H78.7", 330 leaves). For a grand staircase or double-height living room (18-20 feet), choose Size L (H98.4", 400 leaves). For hotel atriums or stairwells (22-25 feet), choose Size XL (H118", 520 leaves). The diameter should not be wider than half the opening of the stairwell or foyer.
What bulb does the Gingko Vortex Chandelier use, and is it dimmable?
E12 candelabra base for the US/Canada or G9 bi-pin for the EU/Australia. The number of bulbs corresponds to the size — 15, 18, 24, or 32 bulbs. A Warm White LED bulb at 2700-3000K is recommended for a soft glow on the porcelain leaves. Bulbs sold separately. The ginkgo vortex chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer.
How many porcelain leaves does each size have?
Size S has 220 porcelain leaves, Size M has 330, Size L has 400, and Size XL has 520 — the leaf density creates the full vortex silhouette once every leaf is attached.
Why is the package shipped disassembled?
To protect the delicate porcelain ginkgo leaves and brass branches during transport. After unpacking, open the brass branches and attach each leaf according to the included guide — the assembly videos are linked above.
Why are there glue marks on some porcelain leaves?
A small amount of glue is applied at the metal-to-leaf interface during production so the brass fitting remains securely attached during shipping and long-term use. A slight residue on some leaves is normal — it does not affect the appearance or functionality of the ginkgo vortex chandelier.
How can I achieve the full vortex shape shown in the photos?
The brass branches are flexible. Gently open the outermost branches by hand and install each porcelain ginkgo leaf to achieve the full vortex silhouette shown in the photos. Measure from tip to tip after opening to confirm the listed diameter.
Sizing & Questions
Each piece is made to order in our atelier — here’s what most customers ask before choosing theirs.
What ceiling height do I need for the Gingko Vortex Chandelier?+
Four sizes suit ceilings from 10 to 25 feet. Size S (H59″) suits 10- to 12-foot ceilings; Size M (H78.7″) suits 14- to 16-foot ceilings; Size L (H98.4″) suits 18- to 20-foot ceilings; Size XL (H118″) suits 22- to 25-foot ceilings in atriums. Maintain at least 7 feet of clearance above the floor or lowest step.
Can I customize the Gingko Vortex for my stairwell width?+
Yes. The flexible brass branches ship open and can be hand-shaped to suit your space. The diameter should not be wider than half the opening of the stairwell or foyer. Our atelier can recommend custom sizing during the ordering process.
Which finish should I choose—Gold, Nickel, or White?+
Gold (brass) pairs warmly with cream or beige interiors; nickel suits modern, cooler palettes; white works with minimalist schemes. All pair with white porcelain leaves. Choose based on the metallic tone and wall color in your décor.
Does the Gingko Vortex arrive fully assembled?+
No—it ships disassembled for safe transport. Assembly includes hand-shaping the brass branches and attaching 220–520 porcelain leaves. Assembly videos and tools are included. Installation usually takes 2–4 hours with two people.
How do I clean the porcelain leaves and brass?+
Gently clean the white porcelain leaves with a soft, dry cloth. For the brass, use a microfiber cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners. A small amount of glue residue on the leaves from production is normal and does not affect the appearance or functionality.
