Gilded Iron · Crystal Drops · Italian-Inspired Small Lantern
A small three-light chandelier built around an open iron cage in the shape of a heart-shaped lantern, finished in aged gold leaf. The frame is hand-detailed with cast leaves at the top, scattered roses along the lower arms, and crystal drops faceted drops suspended from each joint — a refined traditional Italian-inspired vocabulary in a compact silhouette.
Three candle stems sit at the center of the cage, illuminating both the ironwork golden glow that the crystal drops from within. The result is a layered radiance — light direct candlelight from the bulbs, sparkle refracted by the crystals, warm golden light on the gold leaf.

Aged iron frame with hand-cut clear crystal drops. A pairing traditional Italian-inspired — pairs with cream walls, dark wood, traditional textiles, and classic, Hollywood Regency, or French country interiors. The gold leaf is is applied by hand with subtle tonal variation in each piece.
The hand-finished gold leaf varies from piece to piece. The gold leaf the aged finish on the iron frame is applied by hand, so a subtle variation in tone, in its luster and aging pattern is part of its artisanal character — not a defect.

Which bulb does it use? +
Each of the three candle heads uses an E12 bulb (North America) or E14 (EU/UK/AU) candelabra—the smaller socket size used in chandeliers and in candle-shaped fixtures, not standard E26/E27. Up to 25W per socket. We recommend LED candelabra bulbs to warm white light (3000K) for a more period-appropriate glow. Bulbs not included.
Are the crystals real glass? +
Yes—the drops are cut crystal glass, faceted to refract candlelight above. Handle with care during installation; chips along the edges are not covered from the warranty.
What room size is it suited for? +
At ∅ 31 × H 41 cm (12.2" × 16.1"), this is a compact chandelier—best for smaller spaces where a full-size dining chandelier would feel overwhelming. It works particularly well in bathrooms, walk-in closets, entryways, breakfast nooks, and bedrooms with 8-foot ceilings.
Will my piece look exactly like the photo? +
The silhouette and overall character will match the photographs, but because the the gold-leaf finish is applied by hand, the precise aging pattern and tonal variation will be unique to your unit. Yours will be one of a kind—it’s intentional and part of the antique aesthetic.
Can the chain length be adjusted? +
The standard chain is 39.4" (100 cm) and can be shortened during installation by removing the links. For longer drops—vaulted ceilings or stairwells—contact us before ordering to arrange a custom chain length.
