No. Slight glue marks along the lampshade edge are a normal characteristic of the hand-gluing process. They are not a quality defect.

Which size should I choose for my space?+
The small (∅17.7″) is suited to bedside tables or accent areas. The medium (∅25.6″) works well in living rooms and dining areas. The large (∅34.6″) makes a statement in spacious living rooms or double-height spaces. All come with a 197″ cord for flexible installation.
Is it plug-in or hardwired?+
Plug-in only. It includes a 197″ (500 cm) cord with 2 ceiling hooks and an inline push-button switch. No wiring or electrician required—just unpack and hang.
Which bulb do I need?+
