Biomechanical Offloading & Compartment Correction

The Vivolux orthopedic knee brace for OA is a precision orthopedic orthosis designed to reduce load specifically in cases of unicompartmental gonarthrosis. Thanks to the 3-point offloading principle, the knee brace shifts the load axis away from the affected compartment (medial or lateral) and thus minimizes cartilage wear in cases of bone-on-bone arthritis. This stabilizes the joint and supports post-operative rehabilitation and conservative therapy in cases of meniscal injuries.

Technical Features & Orthopedic Specifications

• Varus/Valgus Correction System: Thanks to the integrated joint module, medial or lateral orientation can be individually adjusted. The vertical stabilization bars prevent lateral instability and axial misalignments.
• ROM (Range of Motion) Control: The orthosis is equipped with adjustable flexion and extension stops. This allows controlled limitation of the range of motion to avoid hypertonia or hyperextension during the healing phase.
• Material Composition: The supporting structure is made of an ultralight polypropylene polymer construction with lightweight metal stabilizers and stainless steel rivets. The padding is medical foam to prevent pressure points. The entire product is 100% latex-free.
• Ergonomics & Adhesion: The low-profile design allows it to be worn under clothing. Integrated non-slip elements inside ensure the stability of the 14.5-inch high orthosis during physical activity.

Fasten the straps in the numbered order (1-4). The orthosis is hand washable (remove the padding first). The hinge joints should be treated with a dry lubricant after contact with water. Note: Please select the correct side (left or right) when ordering.
