Italian-Style Marble · Brass Panel · Art Deco-Style Wall Sconce

A wall sconce in the language of 1920s American Art Deco architecture — a tall arched niche silhouette hand-cut from a single block of natural marble, with a small recessed arched brass panel on the front. Light diffuses from an integrated hidden LED at the base of the panel, washing upward to outline the brass plate against the luminous marble behind it.

The arched niche form recalls the monumental sconces and theaters of 20th-century American Art Deco architecture — marble or stone arches framing brass or bronze works. Each marble slab is hand-cut and unique: choose Calacatta Viola style (Purple) for dramatic purple and cream veining as shown, or Statuario style (White) for a paler, calmer stone character. Suitable for entryways, primary bedrooms, hallway pairs, dressing rooms, and gallery walls in modern Art Deco, contemporary, and Italian-inspired interiors.

    Hand-Cut Marble Arch

Each arch is cut and finished from a single block of Italian-style marble — unique natural veining for every piece.

    Brass Panel

Recessed brass arched panel inspired by the architecture of theaters and American Art Deco entrances of the 1920s.

    Hidden Lighting

Integrated LED at the base of the brass panel that casts light upward, outlining the brass against the luminous stone.

    Calacatta Viola Style · Purple

Cream marble with dramatic black and purple veining — the statement option, as shown. Suited to modern Art Deco and Italian-style interiors.

    Statuario Style · White

Clean white marble with subtle gray veining — calmer and more architectural, suited to Scandinavian and light-walled interiors.

Hand-cut natural marble. Each arch is cut and polished from a single block of Italian-style marble — natural veining patterns, color saturation, and translucency vary from piece to piece. The piece shown is representative; your exact veining will differ. The default integrated LED is warm white (3000K), not dimmable. TRIAC-dimmable versions and other color temperatures (4000K neutral, 5000K daylight) are available upon request — please contact us before ordering. Custom builds may affect delivery times.

    • Wired to a standard wall junction box — professional installation recommended.
    • The concealed mounting plate is located behind the marble; verify the wall outlet position before drilling.
    • Heavy stone fixture: the marble slab adds weight beyond that of a standard sconce. Use high-quality wall anchors rated for at least 5 kg, especially on drywall.
    • Install 60–66″ above the finished floor for hallway and bedside use; for entryway or gallery installations, position it to align with the surrounding artwork or panel rhythm rather than the standard sconce height.
    • For side-by-side pairs, space them evenly on both sides of a console table, mirror, or door.
    • No bulb to install — the integrated LED is already installed and pre-wired.
    • For indoor use only · clean the marble with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth; avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners that may etch the natural stone.

What height should I install it at? +

For hallways and walls beside the bed, 60–66″ from the finished floor to the center of the sconce works well. For entryways and gallery walls, position the sconce to align with the surrounding art or panel rhythm rather than standard sconce height. For pairs flanking an object, space them evenly on both sides of a console, mirror, or door.

Will my marble look exactly like the photo? +

No—and that is the point. Each arch is hand-cut from a new block of natural marble, so the veining patterns, color depth, and placement of dark and light bands vary from piece to piece. The photo shows a representative character; your sconce will be uniquely yours. We can occasionally accommodate preferences for more dramatic or more tranquil veining—please contact us before ordering.

Is the Archway Marble Sconce dimmable? +

The default integrated LED is non-dimmable warm white (3000K). A TRIAC-dimmable version is available as a custom build—pair it with a standard TRIAC wall dimmer for smooth brightness control. Please contact us before ordering and specify "TRIAC dimmable" so we ship the correct variant. Custom builds may extend lead times.

Can I get a different color temperature? +

The standard light is warm white 3000K—best for residential and hospitality spaces, and more flattering to the natural tone of the marble and brass cartouche. If you need neutral white (4000K) or daylight (5000K), please contact us before ordering—custom CT options are available upon request.

What is the design language behind the arch? +

The arched niche silhouette recalls 1920s American Art Deco architecture—the monumental sconces of entrances and theaters from that era used this exact form, with marble or stone arches framing brass or bronze works. The integrated cartouche brings the same vocabulary to a residential-scale wall fixture.

Can I install it in a bathroom? +

Archway works well in bathrooms and vanities away from direct shower spray. Avoid placing it directly above a shower or bathtub where steam and water come into prolonged contact—the natural marble may etch over time when exposed to moisture and acidic humidity. For installations in wet areas, please contact us.
