Glass sphere and capsule wall light in two sizes

The Chiswick Glass Wall Light mounts to any wall in either a sphere or capsule form, each available in small or large sizes. The sphere ranges from 7.9″ to 9.8″ wide; the capsule ranges from 5.1″ to 5.9″ wide and 26.4″ to 30.7″ high. Use one shape or mix both on the same wall in bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and dining spaces.

Key features

Clear or amber glass

Clear glass emits a crisp, modern light; amber glass creates a warm, vintage glow. Both are cut to fit the metal body.

Three metal finishes

Electroplated copper, silver, or black. All finishes are factory-applied metal coatings, not paint.

Hardwired installation

An electrician connects the fixture directly to an existing junction box. The cord adjusts up to 59″; extendable on request.

Questions

What is the glass made of? Will it break or shatter?

The shade is made of cut glass. Fine irregularities along the edges and thin cracks around the mounting holes are normal and do not affect functionality or appearance once installed. Glass is inherently fragile, so handle it carefully during installation.

Can I dim this light?

Triac dimming is available as a made-to-order option. Contact support@vakkerlight.com to request a dimmer-compatible version.

Which direction does the light point? Which surfaces work best?

Light spreads upward and downward from the perforated metal core inside the glass. Ideal above or beside mirrors, over a sink or bathroom cabinet, or on either side of artwork on a solid wall.

What do I need for installation?

An existing 110–240V AC wall junction box. Hire a licensed electrician to connect the hardwired fixture. No outlet or plug is used.
