A French country-style wall sconce molded from carved resin in the shape of acanthus leaves and scrolls, with a single candle stem and a small bobeche cup at the center. The silhouette is inspired by 18th-century French provincial decor — chapels carved into wood, farmhouse entryways, and country estates.
Each piece is hand-finished with a deliberately aged surface — the pigment is rubbed into the carved recesses while the raised areas appear lighter, mimicking centuries of age. Available in three aged finishes.

Is the carved body made of real wood or stone? +
No — the carved body is made of high-density resin, hand-finished to resemble wood or aged stone. Resin allows sharper carved details than wood and will not warp or crack with moisture, and weighs less for secure wall mounting. We communicate this clearly so you know exactly what you are purchasing.
What bulb does it use? +
An E12 (North America) or E14 (EU/UK/AU) chandelier bulb — the smaller socket used in chandeliers and candle-style lamps, not the standard E26/E27. Up to up to 25W. We recommend warm white (3000K) chandelier LED bulbs for the best lighting effect appropriate to the period. Bulb not included.
Will my piece look exactly like the one in the photos? +
The silhouette and finish character will match the photographs, but because the the aged patina is applied by hand, the exact pattern of pigment and wear varies slightly between pieces. Yours will be unique — this is intentional and part of the antique aesthetic.
Can I install it in a powder room? +
Yes — for a powder room or guest bathroom away from direct contact with water (beside a mirror or vanity, for example), an IP20 rating is sufficient. Avoid installation inside a shower area or directly above a bathtub. For installations in damp areas, consult a licensed electrician regarding local code requirements.
