Installation

Which bulbs do you recommend? +
Three warm-white (2700K) E12 or E14 candelabra-base LED bulbs, 3–4W each (equivalent to approximately 40W incandescent). Flame-tip or torpedo-shaped bulbs echo the Baroque character; frosted versions soften the light for dining and living spaces.
Is this lamp dimmable? +
The lamp itself is compatible with dimming. To dim it, pair dimmable E12/E14 LED bulbs with a TRIAC-compatible dimmer switch (e.g., Lutron, Leviton Decora). Standard non-dimmable bulbs will operate only at full brightness.
Can I shorten the chain? +
Yes. The 39.4″ chain is made up of individual links that your electrician can remove during installation to set the drop precisely for your ceiling height. The wiring inside the chain is shortened to match as well.
What ceiling height is suitable? +
With the chain fully extended, the lamp hangs approximately 140 cm / 55″ below the ceiling, so it works best with ceilings 2.4 m (8 ft) or higher. For lower ceilings, simply remove chain links to raise the lamp. Above dining tables, aim for 75–90 cm between the tabletop and the bottom of the lamp.
Can I install it on a sloped ceiling? +
Yes — since the lamp hangs from a flexible chain, it naturally aligns vertically regardless of the ceiling angle. Make sure the junction box and canopy are properly rated and oriented for the slope.
How do I clean the bird and leaf details? +
Gently clean with a soft brush or microfiber cloth — the details have intricate recesses that trap dust. Avoid liquid cleaners on the gold leaf surfaces, as moisture can dull the finish. For the bronze, a slightly damp cloth followed by thorough drying is fine.
