Overview

The Equinox Displacement Pendant Light is a pendant light with a pleated linen lampshade and sculptural wood accents, suspended from an adjustable double-suspension cord. The double-suspension design allows the lampshade to hang offset from the ceiling junction box — so you can position the light wherever you want, even when the box isn't in the right place. One E26/E27 socket (max 40W), 59-inch adjustable cord, hardwired. Ø 25 cm × H 25 cm, in Black, Walnut, Wood, or Beige.

How Displacement Mounting Works

Hang the Light Where You Want

The cord runs from the ceiling over a second suspension point, so the lampshade hangs away from the electrical box rather than directly beneath it. Adjust the horizontal offset and drop to center the light above a table or seating area — without moving the junction box. The 59-inch (150 cm) cord sets the height.

Why It Works

🪝 Double-Suspension Displacement A second suspension point allows the cord to carry the lampshade laterally from the ceiling box, positioning the light where you need it — above the center of a table even when the box is offset to one side. It also enables angled, dynamic configurations.

🧵 Pleated Linen + Wood Lampshade A pleated linen fabric lampshade diffuses the single bulb into a soft, even light, while sculptural wood accents mark the suspension points. Constructed from metal, fabric, and wood — a mix of natural materials.

💡 1 Light, Adjustable, Dimmable One E26/E27 socket, max 40W (or LED equivalent), on AC 110–240V. Hardwired with a 59-inch adjustable cable, and compatible with a dimmer (switch sold separately) to set the light level.

When the ceiling electrical box is not aligned with the table, the displacement mount moves the shade above the center of the table — a common solution that avoids rewiring. The pleated shade provides warm, focused light on the surface.
