Tala brass alabaster pendant lamp
Hand-carved white alabaster cylinder with a brass or black metal top. The stone is natural, so each piece has its own veining pattern. It works as a single pendant above a desk, or can be scaled up to 7 heads for a grand entryway or staircase.
What you actually get
Every pendant has unique veining. The material is translucent when lit, diffusing a warm glow through the carved surface.
Choose brass for warmer interiors, or black for modern or minimalist spaces. Both pair beautifully with white alabaster.
Select Triac Warm Dimming on any configuration to control brightness. Standard versions are a fixed warm white.
Every shade is unique
Every Tala lamp is carved from 100% natural alabaster stone. Because alabaster forms over millions of years, each shade has its own individual composition, translucency, and veining pattern. No two pieces are identical.
What to expect: Some shades show rich, dark mineral veining, while others have a clean, soft translucent white appearance with minimal veining. Light or absent veining is completely normal and is a natural characteristic of genuine alabaster, not a quality defect.

Common questions
Is the alabaster stone solid or hollow?
It is carved, not solid. Light passes through the translucent material, so you see the glow from within and the veining pattern when it is lit.
Do all the heads turn on at once, or can I control them separately?
All heads on a fixture are connected to one circuit, so they turn on and off together. If you choose a Triac Dimming version, you dim the entire fixture as one unit.
What is the difference between the round and long canopies on the 3-head versions?
The round canopy is ∅ 11.8" and works best above a round table or in the center of a room. The long canopy is L 23.6" and follows a linear space such as a hallway or rectangular island.
Can I use this in a staircase?
Yes. The tallest version drops 98.4 inches, which suits a two-story entryway or staircase. You will need that vertical clearance and a ceiling box rated for pendant installation.
Will my alabaster shade look exactly like the photos?
No, every piece is unique. The photos show an example, but your shade will have its own veining pattern and translucency. If you want to match a specific look (strongly veined or clean white), email info@vakkerlighting.com with your order details and we will send photos of the available shades for your approval.
