Handwoven from natural rattan using weaving techniques inspired by Javanese tradition, each lampshade features subtle variations that reflect the character of handcrafted workmanship. Available in four shapes, multiple sizes, and several pre-designed cluster combinations, this pendant lamp can be used individually or arranged in a sculptural lighting installation.
Natural rattan variation
Each lampshade is individually handwoven from natural rattan. Variations in color, weave density, texture, and pattern are a normal characteristic of the material and the handcrafted process. The actual color and appearance may vary slightly from the product photography due to differences in natural materials, lighting conditions, and screen settings.
Visible internal support structure
Please note that this pendant lamp includes an internal metal support structure that helps maintain the shape of the handwoven rattan shade and safely supports the bulb socket.
Depending on the viewing angle, especially when looking upward from beneath the light fixture, parts of the internal structure may be visible through the open weave. This is part of the fixture's structural design and is not a defect or a missing component.
We recommend reviewing all detailed product photos before ordering if the appearance of the fixture from below is important for your installation.
Aging of natural materials
Natural rattan and wooden components may gradually develop a slightly deeper, warmer tone over time due to exposure to air and light. This is a normal characteristic of natural materials and does not affect the fixture's performance.

Does the wood look lighter than in the photos — is that normal?
Yes — wood naturally darkens over time. This is a normal characteristic of natural wood.
My lamp looks slightly different from the photos — is it defective?
No. Each piece is individually handwoven, so slight variations in color and finish are expected and normal.
What are the four shape models?
Model A: wide drum. Model B: flat, wide disc. Model C: tall bell. Model D: tall, narrow cylinder. Each has 2–3 size options.

What size should I choose for my kitchen island?+
Model A (∅23.6″ × H15″) suits most islands. Model B (∅19.7″) works for narrower countertops. For cluster arrangements, our atelier customizes the sizes. Make sure you have 30″–36″ of clearance above the countertop.
Will the wood color match my photos?+
Natural wood gradually darkens over time — this is normal. The initial color may appear lighter than in the photos. Each handwoven piece varies slightly in tone and weave pattern; this is an expected artisanal variation.
Can I mix models and finishes in a cluster?+
Yes. Our four pre-designed combinations pair different models and finishes. Our atelier also creates custom multi-light clusters — discuss your vision during checkout or contact us directly.
Which bulb and cable length do I need?+
Use the standard E26/E27 base (bulb not included). A warm Edison filament (2700K) is recommended for a dappled shadow effect. The cable is adjustable up to 78.7″ and extendable on request.
How do I clean the handwoven rattan?+
Gently clean with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid moisture. Since each shade is handwoven from natural rattan, handle it carefully to preserve the weave and handcrafted finishes.
