Installation
- Hardwired ceiling installation — a licensed electrician is recommended.
- All mounting hardware and a 150 cm suspension cord are included.
- The cord can be shortened on-site to adjust the hanging height — for kitchen islands, allow 75–90 cm (30–36″) above the countertop.
- For dining tables, hang 75–85 cm (30–34″) above the tabletop for the most flattering light.

What is the difference between Retro White and Smooth White? +
Retro White is a warm, creamy vintage white — slightly ivory with a hint of yellow undertone, pairing well with wood, brass, terracotta, and warm interiors. Smooth White is a clean, neutral white — crisp and modern, pairing well with gray, chrome, black accents, and minimalist or Scandinavian interiors. Refer to the comparison image above before ordering.
Do I need to purchase a bulb? +
No. The Danika has an integrated LED — no need to purchase bulbs, no replacements, and no compatibility concerns. The LED is designed for a long service life and arrives ready for installation.
What if the LED stops working? +
The integrated LED is built into the fixture and designed for many years of typical use — most homeowners never need to think about it. In the rare event that the LED fails, please contact us directly and we will arrange a replacement service. We do not recommend DIY repairs, as the slim disc design is built around the integrated module.
Is the light dimmable? +
Integrated LED fixtures vary in their dimmer compatibility. The Danika works with most TRIAC dimmer switches, but we recommend testing it with a dimmer-compatible wall switch (for example, Lutron Diva LED+) before final installation. If smooth dimming is essential, please contact us before ordering for current compatibility details.
Can the suspension wire be shortened? +
Yes — the 150 cm suspension wire can be adjusted on site during installation. Your electrician can shorten it to suit the ceiling height. We recommend 75–90 cm above an island or table for the best balance between light and space.
Where does the Danika work best? +
Great for: kitchen islands and breakfast bars (one or a row of three), small dining tables, entryway focal points, and statement lighting for a bedside table or hallway. Its 30 cm diameter is compact enough to group — try three lights in a staggered line above a long island.
How do I clean the light? +
Turn off the power and allow the device to cool. Gently clean the metal disc with a soft, slightly damp cloth — avoid abrasive cleaners that could dull the powder-coated finish. The black finish conceals dust well; white finishes may need slightly more frequent cleaning in busy kitchens.
