Bulb not included. This lamp requires a bulb with a G9 base, maximum 60W. For dimming, pair a dimmable G9 LED bulb with a compatible dimmer switch. We recommend a 4–6W warm white LED bulb (2700K) for the most flattering glow through the white glass diffuser.
Installation
- Mains-wired wall installation — a licensed electrician is recommended.
- Fits a standard single-gang wall box. All mounting hardware is included.
- Dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 LED bulb and a compatible TRIAC dimmer switch (e.g., Lutron Skylark, Leviton Decora).
- Handle the onyx body carefully during installation: natural stone can chip if dropped or knocked against hard surfaces.
FAQ
Will my lamp look exactly like the photos? +
Not exactly — and that is intentional. Each onyx body is cut from natural stone, so the veining patterns, color saturation, and translucency vary between units. The photos show a representative example; your piece will share the same character but have its own unique markings.
Is the lamp dimmable? +
Yes. Install a dimmable G9 LED bulb (sold separately) and a wall dimmer compatible with TRIAC. The lamp itself supports dimming down to a warm, low-level glow.
Which bulb do you recommend? +
A warm white dimmable LED bulb (2700K) rated at 4–6W provides the softest light through the glass. Avoid cool white or daylight bulbs, which produce a harsher tone and flatten the natural warmth of the onyx.
Can I order multiple lamps with the same onyx pattern? +
Because onyx is a natural material, we cannot guarantee identical patterns across multiple units. If you are ordering a pair or set, we will do our best to select visually complementary pieces — please leave a note at checkout.
How do I clean the onyx and glass diffuser? +
Wipe the onyx body with a soft, dry cloth. For the white glass diffuser, use a slightly damp microfiber cloth and dry immediately — avoid harsh chemical cleaners, which can dull both surfaces over time.
Does the glass diffuser get very hot? +
With a 4–6W LED bulb, the glass remains gently warm to the touch. If you use a traditional G9 halogen bulb, the glass will become hot — allow it to cool before handling. We strongly recommend LED.
