Wood & Coconut Beads · Antique Brass · Pure Craftsmanship

A chandelier that brings the natural world indoors — concentric rings of hand-strung wood and coconut beads overlap an antique brass structure, with sculpted coconut-shell claws gently swaying from the strands. Light filters through the woven structure with an organic warmth that no factory-made fixture can replicate. Light in form yet solid in presence — equally at home above a dining table, in a coastal-inspired living room, or anchoring a serene bedroom retreat.

Bead Color — Choose at Checkout

    Wood Color

    Black
The metal structure is always Antique Gold — the finish on the brass frame is fixed. The color selection above applies only to the wood and coconut beads. Wood Color has a warm, organic appearance; Black creates a graphic, modern contrast with the golden structure.

    Size — Choose at Checkout

    Standard
    Single Tier — 3 Lights

    D 76 × H 43 cm

    ∅ 29.9″ × H 16.9″

    Custom Order
    Two Tiers — D 80 + D 60 cm

    D 80 cm + D 60 cm

    ∅ 31.5″ + ∅ 23.6″

The Two-Tier configuration places an 80 cm outer ring above a 60 cm inner ring for grand, striking spaces — high-ceilinged foyers, large dining rooms, and double-height stairwells. The production time is the same 15 days as the standard size.

    Installation

    • Hardwired ceiling installation — a licensed electrician is recommended.
    • All mounting hardware and a 50 cm / 19.7″ suspension rod are included. The rod length is adjustable on site.
    • Confirm the ceiling box's load capacity before installation. Although the chandelier is lightweight for its size (the bead structure is more airy than solid), all standard junction boxes will support it comfortably.
    • Handle the bead strands gently during installation — pulling hard on individual strands can put stress on the thread.
    • For dining rooms, hang the bottom of the fixture 75–85 cm (30–34″) above the tabletop. For entryways with high ceilings, extend the suspension rod accordingly.

    FAQ

Why does shipping take 15 days? +

Because every Antigua is genuinely hand-strung, bead by bead by skilled artisans—there is no inventory. When you order, your specific chandelier begins production: the beads are sourced and selected, the frame is hand-finished in antique gold, the claws are carved from coconut shells, and the strands are assembled by hand into the layered structure you see. The result is a fixture that no factory-made product can match—but it requires patience.

Can I receive it sooner for a specific date? +

Possibly—please contact us with your deadline before ordering. Although the standard production time is 15 days, in some cases we may be able to accommodate urgent timelines if production capacity allows. We will be honest about whether your date is achievable. We do not recommend ordering without first checking if you have a firm deadline.

What is the difference between Wood Color and Black? +

Wood Color showcases the beads’ natural appearance—warm honey-brown beads with subtle grain variation, organic and earthy. It pairs beautifully with reclaimed wood furniture, linen, jute, terracotta, and other natural materials. Black is the modern graphic option—dark beads contrast sharply with the antique gold frame, creating a bolder, more architectural statement. It pairs well with dark wood, leather, and contemporary palettes.

Will my piece look exactly like the photos? +

The shape, dimensions, structure, and overall character will match. But because every bead is natural and hand-selected, expect subtle variations in the beads’ grain, color gradient, and the shape of the claws. This is not a defect—it is the hallmark of true craftsmanship. No two Antiguas placed side by side would ever be identical.

Are the coconut claws real coconut shells? +

Yes — each claw is hand-carved from real coconut shells, giving it its natural grain, gentle curvature, and warm organic color. They are not molded plastic or composite. Since each one is hand-carved, expect slight variations in size and curvature — contributing to the chandelier’s organic character.

Which bulb do you recommend? +

A warm white LED bulb (2700K) with an E26 or E27 base, at 4–6W per socket. Frosted or globe-shaped bulbs work beautifully — the warm light diffuses gently through the bead structure. Avoid cool white or daylight bulbs — they clash with the warm aesthetic of the natural materials and make the chandelier feel more clinical.

    Is it dimmable? +

Yes — paired with dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible TRIAC wall dimmer (such as Lutron Skylark or Leviton Decora), the Antigua dims smoothly. The dimmed light is particularly atmospheric — the warm glow filtering through the layers of natural beads becomes especially evocative.

How do I care for the natural materials? +

Turn off the power and allow the bulbs to cool. Gently clean with a soft brush, feather duster, or low-power vacuum with a soft brush attachment. Do not use water, soap, or liquid cleaners on the wood and coconut materials — moisture can swell the natural fibers and cause cracking. Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent gradual color fading over the years.

What if a bead breaks or becomes loose? +

Individual beads can be replaced. If a bead is damaged during shipping or a strand becomes loose during installation, please contact us with your SKU and photos — we will arrange replacement materials and on-site repair instructions.
