Because every Antigua is genuinely hand-strung, bead by bead by skilled artisans—there is no inventory. When you order, your specific chandelier begins production: the beads are sourced and selected, the frame is hand-finished in antique gold, the claws are carved from coconut shells, and the strands are assembled by hand into the layered structure you see. The result is a fixture that no factory-made product can match—but it requires patience.

Although the standard production time is 15 days, in some cases we may be able to accommodate urgent timelines if production capacity allows. We will be honest about whether your date is achievable. Wood Color showcases the beads’ natural appearance—warm honey-brown beads with subtle grain variation, organic and earthy. It pairs beautifully with reclaimed wood furniture, linen, jute, terracotta, and other natural materials. Black is the modern graphic option—dark beads contrast sharply with the antique gold frame, creating a bolder, more architectural statement. It pairs well with dark wood, leather, and contemporary palettes.

The shape, dimensions, structure, and overall character will match. But because every bead is natural and hand-selected, expect subtle variations in the beads’ grain, color gradient, and the shape of the claws. This is not a defect—it is the hallmark of true craftsmanship. No two Antiguas placed side by side would ever be identical.

Yes — each claw is hand-carved from real coconut shells, giving it its natural grain, gentle curvature, and warm organic color. They are not molded plastic or composite. Since each one is hand-carved, expect slight variations in size and curvature — contributing to the chandelier’s organic character.

A warm white LED bulb (2700K) with an E26 or E27 base, at 4–6W per socket. Frosted or globe-shaped bulbs work beautifully — the warm light diffuses gently through the bead structure. Avoid cool white or daylight bulbs — they clash with the warm aesthetic of the natural materials and make the chandelier feel more clinical.

Yes — paired with dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible TRIAC wall dimmer (such as Lutron Skylark or Leviton Decora), the Antigua dims smoothly. The dimmed light is particularly atmospheric — the warm glow filtering through the layers of natural beads becomes especially evocative.

Turn off the power and allow the bulbs to cool. Gently clean with a soft brush, feather duster, or low-power vacuum with a soft brush attachment. Do not use water, soap, or liquid cleaners on the wood and coconut materials — moisture can swell the natural fibers and cause cracking. Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent gradual color fading over the years.

Individual beads can be replaced. If a bead is damaged during shipping or a strand becomes loose during installation, please contact us with your SKU and photos — we will arrange replacement materials and on-site repair instructions.
