All Vakkerlight ceiling fans are equipped with DC motors. The variable-frequency motor enables reverse rotation for effective ventilation and redistribution of warm air in winter, while maintaining quiet operation.
Fabric Shade — Decorative Printed Pattern
The unique pattern on the shade is a printed design applied to the fabric — it is not a natural woven or raised texture. The print is intentional, adding visual depth and character to the shade's appearance.

LED light sources are designed to last, with an exceptionally long service life under normal use. For added peace of mind, we offer an ongoing light source support service — if your LED ever fails, we will always be able to provide a compatible replacement, ensuring that your fixture continues to function for years to come. - The downrod can be extended on request for high ceilings.

Can I use a standard wall switch?
No. Standard household switches are not compatible with this fan's receiver. For wall control, purchase the Vakkerlight wireless wall switch from our website. The handheld remote is included.
Is the pattern on the shade a real texture or printed?
Printed. The decorative pattern is applied to the fabric — it adds visual depth and character but is not a natural woven or raised texture.
Can I get a flush-mount version?
Yes. After placing your order, provide your order number to our support team and we will arrange a flush-mount installation without the downrod.
Does it have a reverse function?
Yes. The variable-frequency DC motor supports reverse rotation, which is useful for redistributing warm air in winter and for effective ventilation.
What sizes and models are available?
Two models: Model A (H11.8") and Model B (H15.7"). Each is available in ∅36", ∅42", ∅48" and ∅52" sizes.

What size should I choose for my room?+
36″ is suitable for small bedrooms; 42″ suits standard living rooms; 48″ works for larger spaces; 52″ is for open-plan layouts or high ceilings. Model A (11.8″ drop) is mounted as a pendant; Model B (15.7″ drop) mounts flush or closer to the ceiling. Consult our atelier about your room dimensions for a tailored fit.
How much ceiling height do I need?+
Model A requires a minimum of 9′–10′ with the standard 11.8″ downrod (extendable on request). Model B requires 8.5′+ for flush or closer-to-ceiling installation. Contact our atelier to discuss your ceiling height and customize your mounting options.
Does this fixture require a special switch?+
Yes—standard wall switches are not compatible. Use the included handheld remote or purchase our Vakkerlight wireless wall switch separately for wall control. Hardwired installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
How do I clean the fabric shade?+
The printed fabric shade beautifully diffuses warm 3000K light. Gently clean it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid moisture. For detailed care instructions, contact our support team after purchase for shade-specific guidance.
